Climate:
Cape Town enjoys a mild
climate. It has a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry
summers and cold, wet winters. There can be high winds at
times, and the heat may be tempered by sea breezes.

5 pm at most shopping centers. Canal Walk is one of the
biggest shopping malls in the Southern Hemisphere, and there you can

Languages:
There are 11
official languages in South Africa, and the English-speaking visitor
will have no problem while traveling through the country. |
Transport:
Public
transport is not as good in South Africa as in Europe, so we suggest
that you rent a car at any of our top class Car Hire Companies |
Currency and
Exchange Rate: The
unit of currency is in the rand (R). Notes are in R200, R100,
R50, R20 and R10. Coins are in denominations of R5, R2, R1 and
50c, 20c, 10c, 5c, 2c and 1c. The exchange rate tends to be in
the international tourist's favor.
Tip:
Exchange your money in the cities at the banks rather than on the
airport where it is much more expensive. |
